Round Table depicts the Wongs’ family life. The comic is named after the round dining table where the Wong family gathers for meals.

Many Chinese families choose to have a round table for dining as this symbolises ‘reunion’ and ‘gathering’. Everyone is seated around the table, each with a bowl of rice, and the communal dishes are placed in the center within easy reach for all.

Sitting around the table gives everyone a good view of each other, hence making it easier for conversations.

Family meals can seem so ordinary. But with the huge amount of time we tend to spend on food and eating, the round table provides a great place for family bonding.

May you bond with Ben and Clare and their family over the round table in their home!

Round Table is a work of fiction. All names, characters, places, events and incidents are fictional. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental and unintended.
